The Coppleridge Inn is a beautifully converted 18th century farm set in ten acres of rolling meadows and woodland with spectacular views of the Dorset countryside. Located in Motcombe near Shaftesbury, The Coppleridge offers freshly prepared and locally-sourced food, open log fires and ten ensuite B&B rooms. It is a popular wedding venue featuring a charming oak-beamed barn as well as a woodland arbor for outdoor ceremonies.

The Coppleridge Inn is a family and dog-friendly country pub overlooking Hardy’s Blackmore Vale set in ten acres of meadow and woodland. Boasting a panoramic terrace for summer eating and log fires in winter, the Coppleridge is a destination pub beloved by locals and visitors alike. The pub is owned and run by the Scott family and all the family are involved in it’s day-to-day running.
Our team of chefs produce mouth-watering meals using fresh, local produce. From good old pub favourites such as fish & chips and burgers to delicious seafood and game dishes, there is a dish for every palate. An excellent wine list and a range of real ales provides the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
We are a popular venue for weddings, meetings and parties, with a good-sized function room, several private rooms, ten comfortable en-suite rooms and a self-catering static home.

Sleep at the Coppleridge
Our ten spacious rooms are situated around the tastefully converted farm court yard with easy access to the pub. With wonderful views of the surrounding Dorset countryside, the Coppleridge Inn is the ideal place to relax and unwind.
The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms, TVs, Wifi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Our twin rooms have two large single beds, our king rooms have a king-size bed and the family rooms have a king, single and double sofa bed. The family rooms can accommodate up to five and we can add z-beds for an additional charge.
Drink at the Coppleridge
Sit back, relax and enjoy a round of drinks with friends. Our cosy bar area at the heart of the inn offers a range of drinks from premium wines and spirits to local flavours on tap. We have three guest ales (often from local breweries) as well as a full range of beers, lager and cider on draught and in bottles.
Fantastic for traditional meals or a tipple after a day’s rambling, golfing or shooting, our bar area offers all of the comforts of your favourite local and more. Children and dogs are welcome and we have a decent range of soft and non-alcoholic drinks. So whether it’s a glass of mulled cider in front of one of our open fires in winter or an ice cold Pimms on the sun terrace in summer, The Coppleridge is a popular destination whatever the season.

The Coppleridge Inn has been offering beautiful weddings for over 25 years and our team have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help make your day unique.
We can offer a number of different options for a civil wedding ceremony, the evening reception and the wedding breakfast. Organisers can use our converted 18th century barn with its oak beams and log burner, the Wedding Pagoda set amongst ancient Oak woodland or the Garden Room with its private patio and garden.
With ten B&B rooms and and a self-catering static home, there’s plenty of room for your guests to stay, making the Coppleridge Inn very popular for weddings of any size.
